The color sorter picks materials by identifying subtle color differences. It has been widely used in food, medicine, ore and plastic industries. The maintenance of color selection machine is divided into factory after-sales service and daily maintenance of customers.


Here are just a few points to note about daily maintenance mainly for chute sorter, belt sorter can refer to these suggestions in part.


First of all, make sure the surface of the Color Sorter Machine is clean. Clean machines not only have a better visual sense, It also let you have a clear view of some potential security risks, and cleaner glass of the sorting cabinet window mines better color selection.


Secondly, ensure the sorting cabinet and electrical control cabinet seal. The sealing of the cabinet can make sure that the electrical parts will not be damaged by small animals or insects. Because of the general dust in the factory, it also avoids the possibility of dust explosion. In addition, it can ensure the window and lens surface is clean.


Then there is the inspection of the material transfer structure. First check the vibrator for deviation, check that the screws are fastened, and Check the distance between the vibrator and the chute. Make sure the surface of the chute is smooth, if there is something attached to the surface of the chute, there will be jumping material, please do not scratch the chute when removing the attachment. Finally, adjust the outlet baffle so that it is in an optimal position.


Check the ejector and nozzle regularly. Open the vibrator without material, Place your hand in front of the nozzles where the camera can capture it, make sure every blow works. Remove the foreign body if something is blocking the mouthpiece, if the ejector is not working due to other reasons, please contact the after-sales staff and do not presume to advocate self-maintenance.


And the gas path parts. Check the dust cleaning system to make sure it works properly, and check the filter barometer, the right pressure leads to a lower belt-out ratio and a lower rate of breakage. And don't forget to drain the water from the air compressor regularly.


Finally, check whether the machine is properly grounded. Ensure the LED source working properly and so on.This is my view on the daily maintenance of color sorter.  Not so comprehensive, and hope to be helpful to color sorter users.
