With the rapid development of my country's plastic industry, while enjoying the convenience brought by plastic products, a large number of plastic bottles are discarded, which seriously damages the environment. In order to realize the recycling of plastic bottles, we have studied the intelligent technology and system of waste plastic bottle sorting based on pet flake sorting machine vision, including image preprocessing, plastic bottle type identification method and positioning algorithm in the process of plastic bottle sorting.

After cleaning and de-labeling, the plastic bottles fall evenly into the conveyor through the vibrating hopper, and then transfer to the sorting system.

The sorting system mainly includes four parts, namely the lighting system, the image acquisition unit, the image processing unit and the separation unit. First, the target bottle is photographed with an industrial camera. Second, the images obtained by the image morphology method are preprocessed. Then, objects are classified and position acquired by depth.

By analyzing the actual production needs of different enterprises, we designed the overall structure, workflow and hardware system of the intelligent different Color plastic bottle sorting system, and preprocessed the collected images to eliminate image distortion and color cast. In addition, for the system sorting requirements, the image processing target localization method based on image morphology is studied, and the target recognition algorithm based on deep learning is explored. It enhances the extraction ability of the shallow network of the model, integrates the characteristics of the training data set, improves the recognition rate of small debris, enhances the generalization ability of the model, effectively improves the recognition rate of residual labels, and ensures that the entire system can The real-time detection speed is required. From the experimental results, the system can identify accurately and quickly, and has high practical value.
